SCHINDLER'S LIST: THE LIST OF LIFE In Mr. Lewenstein's class, we were required to do a research paper in a historical film of our choice. We worked slowly by working on paragraphs individually which made everything run so smooth. This is some of the work that I was able to do throughout the semester JAY'S THREE PART INTRODUCTION The Holocaust was a very dark time for everyone, especially for the Jewish. During World War II, the innocent lives of many Jews were taken for no reason. Fortunately, there were very few of those who felt compassion for the Jews and saved a couple of lives. Towards the end of the film “Schindler’s List,” there is a scene in which the Jews hand Oskar a ring in thanks to him helping them. Instead of Oskar thanking the Jews for the ring, all he could say was “I could have done more.” This is something that truly touched my heart because he truly wanted to help as many Jews as he could.
